Statement
She approaches painting trying to grasp not only the image represented but also the role they play in our daily life and the emotions it arouses. Assembled as if it were a repertoire of vestiges and memories, the artist breaks down the hierarchies that exist between them and questions the conventions that see differences between a so-called professional art and another considered a domestic art.
It is the idea of staging that unifies the entire project. Not only the inertia of the places, the vehicles or the fruits, but also the nostalgia, restlessness and uncertainty that they transmit to us.
Her paintings transmit a disturbing calm, connecting the family space and the street, the private and the public. By bringing together still life and landscape painting, she also jumps a tension between the controlled beauty of the house and the insubordinate chaos of a city that lives in a dizzying and incessant way.
