Paola Baertl
Bio
Peruvian artist graduated from the Faculty of Art of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú with a specialty in Painting (1994-1999) has led free workshops at Edith Sachs, Escuela de Arte Corriente Alterna and at the Pont Aven School of Art in France. She began her practice in ceramics in 2011 at the Tierra Nueva workshop and then did a specialization at the Sonia Céspedes Rossel School Workshop. He currently combines both practices, painting and ceramics.
He has three individual exhibitions: GERMINAR (2007), INFINITA TRAMA (2013), and POR DENTRO (2017). He has participated in several group exhibitions in Peru and abroad, his work has been exhibited in the USA, France, Panama, Iran, Turkey, Thailand, Latvia and in China at the Yixing Museum of Modern Art and in Zibo at the LiZiyuan Museum as part of two important international ceramics symposia.
