Statement
His work acquires total consistency thanks to a subtle work of poetic observation. Endowed with acute sensitivity and incisive humor, Strada insistently fixes her gaze on social phenomena, delicately processing the ways of inhabiting public space and establishing relationships linked to the political in terms of collective citizen participation. Like this in the city and the street; also in her house and workshop. Both spaces become a contact and meeting zone from which she produces a vibrant, varied and vital plastic language, building compositions that establish an indiscernible place between visual landscape and abstraction. Images dense in connotations that touch the social, the formal and the public. It is this constitutive ambiguity of her pieces that allows her to conceive her work as a way of saving what is fragile and ephemeral in everyday experience; a sensitive re-encoding process or a secret language that we all speak.
