Statement

Constantly traversed by the context where I insert myself, I have had the need to identify, understand and analyze the relationships that make up the social. The first rapprochement occurs through coexistence and permanent dialogue with another, which begins in my filial and genetic core: my family, and then expands to other spheres.
Through the metaphor of the textile weft, I reveal different themes: filial relationships, genetic and cultural inheritance, the feminine, the naturalization of norms imposed on the subject, the body repressed and tortured by the social and its bodily and psychic resistance. , premises that establish a sensitive dialogue with the everyday. This last concept, together with autoethnography, are the main bases in the research and execution of my works, developed through the performativity of actions such as writing, speaking, walking, dressing, and/or weaving, or through objects textiles.
