Statement

Isabel works with abstraction from poetics with more lyrical expressive resources and forms that establish a more aerial space-time relationships, with surreal and dreamlike overtones.
Isabel has been working constantly and exerted herself in creating a peculiar neofiguration, overflowing with a universe of characters, metaphors and analogies that take us to a world full of spiritual meanings and imagination, inspired by the subconscious, through automatism and where color is the real protagonist.
“My art is an honest attempt to express my inner poetic world in an intuitive way and spontaneous encounters
where I connect to subconscious thoughts related to dreams.
Through psychic automatism I find a mysterious cosmic world where the spirit is free and color is the real protagonist. My work has to do with psychic automatism to achieve my inner model”.
