Michelle Magot
Bio
Magot studied Fine Arts in Lima at the Escuela Superior de Arte Corriente Alterna and continued her studies in Florence at the Scuola D'Arte Lorenzo D'Medici.
In 2003 she completed an MFA at the Byam Shaw @ Central Saint Martins School of Art in London. She participated in group exhibitions in London, New York, Hamburg, Berlin, Buenos Aires, and Miami; and in international collectives such as A new vision UNCONN Stamford Gallery in the USA, Tertulia at The Art Gallery in the UK, BinoScapes Berliner Kunstproject in Berlin, among others.
Magot also participated in several artist residencies in Italy under the direction of South African artists Claire Gavronsky and Rose Shakinovsky and remained working for several more years between Paris, Lucerne, and Mexico.
