Statement
“The pictorial work of Valeria Maculán is crystallized by the superposition of layers. Transparent layers that allow the trajectory of the work to be followed from the first stroke to the last.
In these new works where the plane is abandoned and the three-dimensionality appears, the idea of superposition continues, only now different materials, textures, objects, colors, living organisms are superimposed.” Cristina Schiavi, (2006).
