Statement
Floating heads or faces stripped of their bodies are shown on the walls of my house and in my studio as if I were a monothematic painter or a portraitist of the most varied characters of a destroyed society, crushed and bored with the same as always.
In recent years, my discourse has focused on a single part of the human body, and when it appears floating without connection or stuck in a strange way, as alien or imposed reluctantly, it expresses almost nothing; perhaps this is how I perceive my reality, all floating in our sorrows and disappointments, all immersed in our times and feeding the desire that everything is fine and that our belonging remains intact despite ourselves.
Maybe this is just a way to put into words what I think I feel.
Maybe it's just a pretext to do something that works for me and gives me meaning.
Maybe they are just drawings.
