Statement
In his work, painting and reading seem to merge, creating a space-time melting pot that is usually specific to them.
Cover, blank text, gutter, spine, rib, endorsement, spine, title piece, ranger, page, blank foot, brief, the body of the book, on one side, or frame, false frame, panel, canvas, passe - partout, brace, glaze, impasto, marouflage, all of this converges in an impossible topography patiently and methodically constructed, of worlds that bear worlds.
Additional information
I often think of my paintings as traps. Where will recognition go? In the representation, in the illusion of the third dimension, or in the presence of the painting, in its reality as an object?
