Statement

In recent times, chaos and uncertainty have removed the foundations on which the logic and perspective conquered by man are established. We have spent a lot of time at home while habits, customs and life itself were faltering, the lines and right angles of architecture have been transformed, creating a supra-structure capable of also encompassing the imponderable: the soul that lives in each one of us. Now it is this being that inhabits the void that shapes and transforms it, the perspectives overlap, the verticals become diagonals and the windows and doors become escape spaces, finding in this dynamic architecture a form of freedom and catharsis.
González Tobón expresses through the void created by the planes of curved and bent stainless steel sheets his plastic language: abstract, geometric and with a marked interest in the spirituality that its forms contain.
