Statement
I did not start working with the rose, I did not look for it, I would say that I found the rose in me and it always accompanied me in understanding the world, which is why it is often present in my way of assimilating events.
The rose is a flower that exists in our imagination, perceived for its beauty, the softness of its petals, its sensual shape, delicacy and its symbolism. We have found it since the beginning of culture in the structures of sacred magical-religious places, also camouflaged in the forms of fertility, in the emblems of secret societies, the symbol of the Rosicrucians, in the structures of the coliseums. We see it in the rose windows of Gothic cathedrals, in heraldic symbols such as the house of York and Lancaster, in the union of both, the Tudor rose. In the wind rose, the mystical rose. In Dante, in Paradise. Borges' unfading rose.
