Statement
Influenced by the rhetoric of images introduced by Roland Barthes, Gamaliel's work deals with the study of the image itself. His interest develops around the use of drawing in a historical context and its reinterpretation or analysis, since he believes that the notion of expression resides in the ability to reinterpret images in a process that involves the creation of a new message.
